The Dragon at Nakoma Resort
Perched above the wild and scenic Feather River just a few miles outside of Graeagle on A15 road, the Dragon is a true mountain course boasting stunning views from every tee box. The dramatic mountain vistas are perfectly complemented by the Robin Nelson designed championship course that accommodates all ability levels. This high altitude course is a very demanding and fascinating strategy course requiring some thought and accurate shots. It’s worth the visit to see the famous Frank Lloyd Wright designed clubhouse which
has a formal dining room, a cozy bar and spacious deck for post-game relaxation.

Graeagle Meadows Golf Course
Graeagle Meadows championship golf course offers spectacular mountain views and 6,725 yards of golf to satisfy all levels of golfers. Lofty pines, lots of water and elevated tees offer the ultimate golf experience. Golf Digest includes Graeagle on its list of “Best Places to Play.” The clubhouse offers breakfast and lunch indoors or outdoors on the deck where you'll overlook the beautiful course.

Grizzly Ranch Golf Course
Located on the outskirts of Portola just 15 minutes from Graeagle, this mountain course is an unforgettable setting for golf enthusiasts. Ranked the #1 public accessible course in the Sierra Nevada and #11 for public access courses in all of California (Golf Digest), it is not as target-tough as the Dragon at Nakoma, but tougher than Whitehawk. With many climbing hills, a couple of tough forced carries, and plenty to keep your attention! Enjoy breakfast or lunch at the Lake House Bar and its terrace overlooking the 18th green.

Plumas Pines Golf Course
Set in the heart of Plumas Pines, this gorgeous meandering course plays to just over 6,500 yards. The course runs along the Feather River and its tree-lined fairways are always in pristine condition, giving golfers a scenic and enjoyable time on the links. It is a mountain course with elevation changes and each hole has its own character. The trees and adjoining houses along the fairways make for narrow play and require accuracy from the tee. The course is consistently in wonderful condition, including some of the best-maintained greens in the area. Longboards Bar & Grill at the clubhouse offers lunch and dinner during the season and post-play drinks can be enjoyed on the wrap-around deck which offers great views over the course. Whitehawk Ranch Golf Course
Carved from the natural terrain of the Mohawk Valley, immaculate fairways are framed with native grasses, California poppies and blue lupine. Seven streams meandering through tall pines, cedars, firs, and quaking aspens create ponds and waterfalls that contribute to the challenge and beauty of the Dick Bailey-designed course. From the championship tees, the par-71 course plays 6,983 yards. Golfers of all levels can expect an exhilarating round of golf. Whitehawk offers a true golf challenge in a traditional fashion amid the peace and serenity of its beautiful setting. The course offers outstanding practice facilities that feature multi-level grass tees, putting green and practice bunkers. The snack shop on site offers patio seating at ground level. Whitehawk also features a restaurant a few hundred yards away in the lodge, which serves dinner during the golf season.
